A: The above of the line along with the two eyebrows is the upper part of the face, the below of the oral commissure line is the lower part of the face, and between the two lines is the middle part of the face; B: The first sensory branch of the trigeminal nerve, the ophthalmic nerve (V1), is responsible for sensations from the scalp, forehead, upper eyelid, conjunctiva, cornea, and nose; the second branch of the maxillary nerve (V2) includes the lower eyelid, nostril, upper lip, upper cheek, partial forehead, and scalp; the third branch of the trigeminal nerve, the mandibular nerve (V3), includes the lower lip, chin, and the lateral cheek (except the maxillary angle), part of the forehead, and the scalp; C: Frontal region is defined as the cephalic and facial region above the imaginary line between the nasal root and the lateral canthus and the top of the auricle (including the upper eyelid)
