I have lived in many cities in the US in the following states (FL, CA, NY, GA, MI), and traveled to many countries. By far, Thailand is the best place I have been to (I have been to Thailand several times), the people are friendly to all races; the food is great; the food is available everywhere and low cost and high quality and fresh, and the cost of living is amazing if you have a decent income. Just remember to be respectful as they value respect in their country. The only negative is the traffic, and let me tell you...the traffic is out of control....but that is primarily in the city or during a holiday. I have been mainly to Bangkok and surrounding cities, on my next visit, I plan to go to Chaing Mai and possibly Phuket and its neighboring cities. If you have never been there, please do not comment about the country or the city.
