思源黑体是由谷歌和Adobe 合作推出的一款免费的开源字体（可免费商用）。思源黑体支持简体中文、繁体中文、日语、韩语、希腊字母、拉丁字母以及西里尔字母，包括65535个象形文字，是目前东亚文字最大的字体之一。思源黑体全套字体设计优雅，显示效果优秀。同时，由于思源黑体的多语种设计，使得其非常适用于设计、开发人员下载使用。

思源黑体是Adobe和Google共同发布了一款针对中文、日文、韩文的开源字体，两公司市场部门出于不同的考虑，对这款字体的命名不同，Adobe称之为Source Han Sans，而Google把它作为Noto Pan-Unicode的一部分，叫它Noto Sans CJK（CJK：Chinese, Japanese, Korean)。包括ExtraLight、Light、Normal、Regular、Medium、Bold 和 Heavy 共7种字体粗细，支持简体中文、繁体中文、日语、韩语、希腊字母、拉丁字母以及西里尔字母，可以满足不同场景下的文字显示需求。思源黑体整套字体设计优雅，显示效果优秀，值得收藏！

思源黑体是Adobe与Google历时三年在2014年7月宣布推出的一款开源字体，这是一款新的供桌面使用的开源 Pan-CJK 字体家族， 有七种字体粗细（ExtraLight、Light、Normal、Regular、Medium、Bold 和 Heavy），完全支持繁体中文、简体中文、日文和韩文，这些全部都包含在一种字体中。它还包括来自我们颇受欢迎的 Source Sans字体家族的拉丁文、希腊文和西里尔文字形。

使用中文、日文、韩文的人口约占世界人口的四分之一。Google一直致力于为包括中日韩用户在内的世界各种语言用户提供高品质的信息服务。为此，Google携手Adobe为中日韩用户开发了一款优秀的免费字体：NotoSans CJK。它可以为人们带来愉悦和高效的信息阅读体验。

Noto SansCJK在一款字体中全面支持了繁体中文、简体中文、日文和韩文，并兼顾了对四种语言的不同书写惯例的支持。它是一款黑体字体。对简体中文，它支持中国国家标准GB18030以及教育部于2013年颁布的《通用规范汉字表》里规定的所有汉字。

在双方的合作中，Google参与了对项目方向及字体特征的定义。而Adobe则在字体设计和开发方面展现了强大的实力，带来坚实的字体设计经验、大量协作和自动化技术。

除了主要是由谷歌与 Adobe 联合开发，还有来自中国、日本、韩国的字体开发公司参与。设计的最初阶段由 Adobe 负责，后来 Google 也参与到字体的具体设计，并且承担了第二阶段的主要费用。由于 Google 主导了设计，因此我们将极有可能会在日后的 Android 系统中看到这套字体的应用。

目前思源黑体在Google Fonts和Adobe字体库已经可以免费获取。思源黑体已在Web字体服务网站Typekit 上免费推出，如果想要使用原始源文件，可以通过SourceForge和GitHub下载页获取。
