本周五月花将继续讲解新的小作文数据描述-平稳趋势表达。

上两周五月花雅思带大家一起学习了关于比例、关于数字上升下降的表达方式，都是考生们必须掌握的，还有一种现象考生也要会描述，就是线图或者柱形图中变化趋势不明显，趋于稳定的情况，常用词如下：

1）stabilize以及level off/out at+数字：

level off/out 表示（数字或数量）趋向平缓，趋于稳定

例1：煤气会稳定在25。

Gas will probably stabilize / level off at 25.

例2：到2025年，风能的消耗量会稳定在5.

By 2025, the consumption of wind energy will level out at 5.

2）保持+稳定/不变：

remain/keep /stay + constant /stable/flat /the same /unchanged

**若后面要跟数字，请使用介词at+数字 **

例： 2020 年到 2030 年的天然气消耗量会趋于稳定。

The consumption of natural gas will remain stable/keep flat/stay unchanged from 2020 to 2030.

3）plateau /reach a plateau v. & n.

指数字达到稳定阶段，进入停滞时期，后面用at+数字

例 1 ：销售额稳定在 150 万美元。

The sales figures plateaued at $1.5 million.  

或者： The sales figures reached a plateau at $1.5 million.

1） fluctuate(v)，witness a fluctuation (n) 波动，不稳定

例1：

1995年到2002年，进口商品的数量在90到200之间波动，总体趋势是上升的。 The number of imported goods fluctuated / witnessed a series of fluctuation within the range between 90 and 200 from 1995 to 2002 ， and its overall/general trend/tendency was upward.

**经历一系列的波动：undergo a range/series of fluctuation**

例2：

2000年进口商品数量为150，在接下来的十年里经历了一系列波动然后在2010年增加到400.

The number of imported goods was 150 in 2000, undergoing a range of fluctuation in the following/next 10 years, increasing to 400 in 2010.

2） waver（v），wavering (n) 波动，变化

例：进口商品的数量波动性上升。

The number of imported goods wavered but it showed an upward trend.
