Start of Spring: A dubiously premature name, as it's not the beginning of spring in most of China; only in the extreme south.

立春：这个叫法不是很准确，因为在中国大部分地区，春天还没来，只有在中国最南端才能感受到春意。

Rain Water: There is an increase of rainfall from then on.

雨水：从那时起，降雨量增加。

Awakening of Insects: Spring thunder begins and hibernating creatures wake up.

惊蛰：春雷阵阵，冬眠的生灵苏醒。

Spring Equinox：With an equal length of day and night in spring.

春分：春天的昼夜等长。

Pure Brightness：It is clear and bright (when it's not raining), and the weather becomes noticeably warmer, particularly in southern China.

清明：晴朗透亮（不下雨时），天气明显变暖，中国南方最明显。

Grain Rain: The early crops show their shoots.

谷雨：早熟的庄稼露出嫩芽。

Start of Summer: The beginning of summer (in southern China).

夏至：夏季初到，中国南方较明显。

Grain Buds: The seeds of summer crops begin to become plump, but are not yet ripe.

小满：夏季作物的种子开始饱满，但尚未成熟。

Grain in Ear: The wheat becomes ripe; and the summer planting starts.

芒种：小麦成熟了，夏季种植开始。

Summer Solstice: The daytime is the longest and the nighttime is the shortest of the year.

Minor Heat: The beginning of the hottest period.

小暑：；一年最热的时期开始

Major Heat: It is the time of year when the duration of the sunshine is the longest, the average temperature is the highest, the rainfall is the greatest, and the thunderstorms are the most frequent.

大暑：一年中日照时间最长、平均温度最高、降雨量最大、雷暴最频繁的时候。

Start of Autumn: An anomaly: nowhere is this true. Like the "start of spring" it is about a month premature.

立秋：有点反常，并非秋天的开始，正如“立春”一样，它提前了大约一个月。

End of Heat: The end of the hot summer.

处暑：炎热夏天结束。

White Dew: The transition from summer to autumn. The temperature drops sharply, and the autumn rains come.

Autumnal Equinox: With an equal length of day and night in autumn.

Cold Dew: The weather becomes cold enough to reach dew point, but not cold enough to reach frost point.

Frost Descent: The weather becomes cold and frost begins to form (in North China).

霜降：天气变冷，中国北方开始结霜。

Start of Winter: True of northern China, but winter comes later in the south.

Minor Snow: Snow begins to fall, the weather becomes cold.

Major Snow: It snows heavily for the first time in the year

Winter Solstice: The daytime is the shortest and the nighttime is the longest of the year.

Minor Cold: The weather rapidly reaches its coldest.

小寒：天气迅速转入最冷的时候。

Major Cold: 'Major Cold' It is the coldest time of the year.

大寒：顾名思义这是一年中最冷的时候。
