Inclusion is something that is so important to me and has been throughout my life. Yesterday I was able to host a panel with some of our Anglia Route senior leadership team on the theme of International Women’s Day, discussing gender equity in rail with colleagues from across the route. Today my sister, Lauren Heria, has articles about her work on the #EqualFACup campaign for her team Lewes FC published. Even though we work in two very different places my sister’s words could apply to our industry just as clearly: “The thing that I love about Lewes is they will never tell us to settle, whether that’s on the pitch or off the pitch. It is always: ‘No, you can expect more of yourselves and you can expect more of the club and more of society.’”
Good luck to Lewes in the quarter finals on Sunday 💪🏻
