Tooth form for chain sprockets for inverted tooth chains complying with DIN 8190 - Dimensions of profile
This document is to be applied when using toothed chains according to DIN 8190 for power transmission in all cases where the toothed chain wraps around the sprockets. It specifies tip circle diameter and tooth width of sprockets with a pressure angle of 30° and a strongly negative profile involute toothing for chains according to DIN 8190 depending on the number of teeth. This document is not applicable when a stretched tooth chain engages the sprockets. In these cases, special toothing of the sprockets is required.
