Fierrochase is the non-binary ship between Magnus Chase and Alex Fierro from the Camp Half-Blood Chronicles fandom.

Magnus and Alex previously knew each other before Valhalla, as they were both homeless. They didn’t interact much then however.

The first time Magnus sees Alex in Valhalla is Alex in cheetah form, and she runs over his shoes. Magnus then looks in Alex’s room (since his friends told him to because the room was recked) and looks at all of her clothes and things.

Before battle training, Magnus sees Alex in human form and is surprised at how attractive and beautiful she is, and how much she looks like Loki, and “forgets how to breathe”. Magnus then learns her name, and stares at her, pissing her off. Magnus tries to talk to her, but Alex says just because they were homeless doesn’t make them friends. Alex then “angrily” tells Magnus she’s trans and gender fluid, and Alex tells Magnus he was staring. Magnus is surprised of the strong emotions he has towards her.

During battle training, he keeps looking at Alex. A dragon almost kills Magnus but Alex kills it with a garotte wire. Alex then beheads Magnus to save him from Loki’s control.

During dinner, Magnus keeps staring at Alex eat dinner. Halfborn tells Magnus there’s no shame in being attracted to her. Magnus watches Alex’s death video and says she looks like supergirl. After the video, Magnus is the only one to notice that Alex is angry that she was called an argr. Magnus sympathizes for Alex later when Sam says she thought she was going to stay male in Valhalla. Sam also calls Magnus out for talking so much about Alex.

A few days later, Magnus sees Alex with Halfborn, Sam, and Amir. When Alex tells him that he's male at that moment, Magnus stares at Alex for too long, until he tells him to stop staring.

The next day, Alex (female) and Magnus go to Randolphs Mansion. Alex explains to Magnus how her genderfluidity works and why she doesn’t use they/them pronouns. Magnus admits he doesn’t understand but still respects her, which makes Alex smile. Alex and Magnus then bond about their tough childhoods, and Alex tells Magnus he healed Amir and gives him a look of approval. Magnus realizes that Alex reminds him of his mom, which he decides not to dwell on. When Sam sees Alex and Magnus together, Sam gives Magnus a dry smile, although he doesn’t know why. Alex and Magnus then ride Stanley, and Alex puts Magnus’s hands around her waist. Magnus thinks Alex smells like clay.

They fall off Stanley into Jotunheim where Magnus helps Alex up. Magnus notices that she’s bleeding and offers to heal her, but she refuses. By now, Alex is calling Magnus nicknames, like Maggie and Beantown. Alex and Magnus went to Jotunheim later and Alex tells Magnus he doesn’t want him to heal her so he doesn’t see into her mind and emotions. Magnus heals her but doesn’t see any memories. Alex and Magnus then keep watch around the camp and talk.

At Utgard-Loki‘s palace, Alex and Magnus come up with a plan to bowl to New Hampshire, Magnus comes up with a plan to create an illusion, but he has to hold Alex’s hand to do it. Alex hesitated but they hold hands, Magnus uses the power of Frey and sees visions from Alex’s past-Her death, being harassed by teenagers, and being kicked out by a strange man. They make the illusion, and Alex almost cries from the visions. Alex then turns into an elaphant and scores a perfect score in bowling, making Alex overjoyed.

Alex, Magnus, and the others go to Sif’s palace to stay for the night and get wedding clothes, and Alex agrees to marry Thrym instead of Sam. Alex gets a makeover and Magnus gets tongue-tied from how gorgeous she is, and Alex tells him again to stop staring. Magnus then gets laughed at by Alex when he puts on his outfit, and he says it’s embarrassing because Alex is “rocking that wedding dress”.

Alex and the others go to the fake wedding ceremony and Magnus wishes he could stop Alex from marrying a giant. Loki then controls Alex, until he asks Randolph to cut him free, then Alex snaps. Alex gets badly hurt and tells Magnus she was pretending to be controlled, and she grips his hand. Magnus just tells Alex she did great.

The next day, when they get back to Valhalla, Magnus visits Alex's apartment and they talk. Alex calls Magnus warm, sunshine, warm, friendly, and a big softie. When Magnus leaves, Alex asks him how he realized he was male, but is a girl now, and Magnus says he’s getting more perceptive.

Magnus and Alex kiss two times in The Ship of the Dead. The first of these is when they are crossing a frozen lake, potentially about to die from the cold, and Alex kisses Magnus, saying that she didn't want to die without doing that. Magnus said that it was the only reason he survived the journey. The second was after a celebration that Valhalla threw once they returned, where Magnus was shirtless and covered in chocolate, and Alex walked in to talk to him. They kissed, and were implied to have started dating afterwards. After the kiss, Magnus realized that he kissed Alex whilst he was male, but decided he didn't care because he found Alex attractive anyway. They also have a good few cute moments.

On AO3, Fierrochase is the most written ship within the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard fandom tag, as well as and the most written ship for both characters.
