What is Scientia News?

Scientia News is a recently started online website that focuses on articles and resources for A- level and university students studying STEM as well as Medicine. This website helps provide students with quality and accessible resources to help with research.

Your role

As a chemistry content writer, your job would involve dedicating a couple of hours every few weeks to help create, proofread and improve scientific articles. The articles will be based on the field of Chemistry, and/ or any current news in chemistry. You will be required to collaborate remotely with the rest of the team.

What are the Requirements?

Hold an English GCSE (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5, and/ or be proficient in the English language

Hold a Maths GCSE (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5.

Have studied Chemistry at A-level/ IB/ university.

Be comfortably familiar with scientific terminology

Be willing and able to put in a maximum of 3-5 hours every few weeks.

Have access to a computer with Microsoft Office, and internet access.

Excellent Communication Skills.

Excellent Written Skills.

Have a passion for your subject/writing, desirably for medicine.

Have a passion for content writing

**Desirable: have previous experience as a content writer
