If you supply an email address for a referee, the University can send an automated email request to the referee on your behalf if you wish us to do this. The referees’ email addresses must be on the account of an academic institution (shown by the suffix, eg [email protected]) or, if the referee is work-related, on the account of that organisation. Personal email addresses or web-based accounts (hotmail, yahoo, etc) are not acceptable.
