WWE 2K23 publisher 2K Sports has revealed that it has no concrete plans to bring the playable John Cena action figure to regions outside the US.

The action man John Cena was originally outed by dataminers earlier this month within the game’s MyFaction mode, and is based on the Mattel action figure of the wrestling legend. Players can unlock this version of John Cena by purchasing a Mattel WWE action figure from Walmart in the US, and taking a photo of their receipt.

You’re then required to upload your receipt to a special Ruthless Redemption website, which will reward you with a bespoke Locker Code that can be entered in MyFaction to claim the character.

However, speaking with VGC, 2K Sports revealed there’s currently no plans to bring action figure John Cena outside the US.

Currently, this promotion is only available in the US. We’re thrilled to see such excitement and demand from fans and are looking into ways to make these MyFACTION cards available to our global audience.
