TikTok's fast becoming a place where people share every aspect of their lives with others and try new challenges – and mums-to-be are no different.

Whether it's pregnancy announcements or gender reveals, we LOVE to watch.

Tips on what is safe to eat and drink in pregnancy

The latest must-try challenge taking over on the site involves people trying out the strangest and most popular pregnancy cravings – whether they're pregnant or not.

And while mums-to-be have been sharing their own *ahem* weirdest pregnancy cravings over on the video sharing site, others have tried them out too. And many of these pregnancy food combos have already racked up hundreds of thousands of views.

From bananas and ketchup (yup really!) to cheese and honey (can't say we've tried this one), these are the most popular pregnancy cravings on TikTok.

Take a look for yourself below.

TikTok's most popular pregnancy cravings 1 / 10 TikTok's most popular pregnancy cravings From chocolates served with an onion to tomatoes drizzled with mayo, here are some of the weirdest food combinations pregnant women seem to love – as seen on TikTok 1. Bananas and ketchup 2 / 10 Bananas and ketchup

Bananas are rich in potassium and help maintain fluid balance, while ketchup is both sweet and sour in flavour, meaning that mums-to-be are getting vital nutrients and comfort food in one with this combo.

Not sure we'd try it though!

2. Mayonnaise and tomatoes 3 / 10 Mayonnaise and tomatoes

Combining mayonnaise with fresh tomatoes isn't such a strange concept after all (it's just a pared down salad) and is slightly less unusual than the other options on this list. However, we're not sure it would be our first choice of snack.

We'd MUCH rather it on a salad rather than just plain tomatoes.

3. Cheese and honey 4 / 10 Cheese and honey

A slightly less strange one, lots of people enjoy a few wedges of cheese with honey even if they're not pregnant – though it's usually honey-whipped feta or brie drizzled in honey.

But remember, pregnant women should avoid mould-ripened cheeses such as brie, camembert and blue-veined varieties – such as Danish blue or gorgonzola – because of the risk of listeria.

Find out more here.

4. Tuna and ice cream 5 / 10 Tuna and ice cream

One of the oddest combinations on the list, tuna AND ice cream is a hit with many pregnant women – as loads of people on TikTok have given it the thumbs up.

And others have tried out the strange combo too. TikTokker @miachalliner even gave it 'a strong 10 out of 10' when she tried it out.

Hmmm.

5. Nutella and mayo 6 / 10 Nutella and mayo sandwich

While we love Nutella spread on toast, drizzled over our pancakes or just on its own, we're not *quite* sure it goes with mayo. Nope.

But many on TikTok seem to disagree, arguing that it is 'the perfect mix' and 'delicious'.

Not everyone agrees though, as TikTokker @trinhdoesthings did not enjoy the combo.

'It wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t good 😅,' she said.

Can't say we'll give this one a try.

6. Onion and chocolate 7 / 10 Chocolate and onion

The hashtag #chocolateonion has amassed over 200,000 views on TikTok, and it's clear that this weird food duo is a hit with loads of mums-to-be.

We're just not sure the acidic taste of the onion or the sweet taste of chocolate go together, but we just might give it a go ...

7. Pretzels and ice cream 8 / 10 Pretzels and ice cream

While pretzels and ice cream aren't high on the list of foods you'd find together, we can understand the need for a snack that hits the salty and the sweet craving spot.

8. Vinegar 9 / 10 Vinegar

Vinegar is another highly acidic food that pregnant women often crave – though no one seems to know why.

But perhaps it's best drizzled over a salad or on your chips, rather than just drunk straight.

9. Curry (at all times of the day) 10 / 10 Curry

Curry isn't such a strange craving for mums-to-be, particularly in the later stages of pregnancy, as this spicy dish is said to bring on labour if you're overdue.

But whether or not it works, loads of people crave the spicy food while pregnant – at all times of the day.
