Meet Imane, Customer Quality Sr. Specialist from YMOK AFZ, Kenitra; and one of our Morocco QCC participants and winners: • Can you tell us a little about your yourself and your role in Yazaki? I am a highly motivated and responsible individual, with a passion for excellence in the results I deliver. I take pride in my attention to details and my ability to make a meaningful contribution to my team and the organization as a whole. Throughout my 4 years career in Yazaki, I occupied different positions that allowed me to develop an good skill set. I started as an Industrial Engineering Responsible, then I was promoted to PFMEA/MPPS Coordinator and now I occupy the position of Customer Quality Sr. Specialist. • What was your team's name and objective for participating in the EMEA QCC competition? We are team “SAMURAI”. Our goal was to demonstrate our understanding of quality control methodologies, processes, and tools, and apply them to “Eliminate Damage Terminals in Cutting Machines” by delivering simple and effective solution. Ultimately, our objective was to emerge as winners of the competition, demonstrating our commitment to excellence in quality control and setting a high bar for future competitors. • In your opinion, what made your team successful in the competition? Our team's success in the QCC competition was due to a combination of factors: - We had a well-structured and organized team approach; Our QCC has seen the light thanks to the operator’s fortitude to raise her roadblock, and with the team’ service mind and dedication and we were able to bring to the table various skills and knowledge and apply them to generate a winning yet effective solution that we were proud to present passionately. - The mentoring, coaching and constant encouragement of the management team. - The unwavering support of the management team. • Would you like to participate in future QCC competitions, and why? Participating in the quality circle competition was a rewarding and enriching experience for us, providing our team with a chance to challenge ourselves, improve our skills and learn from others. We are extremely proud that our work was recognized with the first prize award which serves as a motivation for us to continue to strive for excellence in all our future endeavors.
