答：In high school I was involved in competitive sports and I always tried to improve in each sport I participated in. 写英文自我介绍时，大概关注两点：

主要段落分布是：

第一段：客套——亲爱的老师们，非常荣幸…

第二段：我是谁——姓名，年龄，毕业院校，原专业，家乡等等

第三段：我做过什么——在自己的科研、实习或者竞赛经历中，选择影响最深、最有分量的，用2-3句话简要概述；

比如同样两句话：

a. I come from Xuzhou in Jiangsu Province.

你觉得哪句话引导性更强？

显然是第二句。因为historical这个词充满故事，有很多可以挖掘的点。如果你准备了很多，有关家乡的历史知识，就可以采用第二种说法，增加老师的兴趣，引导老师提问。

啥是优秀的自我介绍？就是你介绍完，就知道他会提问什么。
