The lobby to wait for your trials.

Level 7000 is the 7001st level of the Backrooms, and is the first level in the 7th Cluster.

Description[]

Level 7000 is a significantly dangerous level with high risk and high reward. This level is mainly composed of trials, of which there are five. The trials get harder and harder as you go along, as they tend to do. Before the trials however, there is a lobby in which you will wait in, as only one person is allowed to go at a time. The trials normally last 20-25 hours, so in the meantime, you will be given regular water and food as to avoid death. The lobby has one entity in it, a faceling named Anna. You must pass at least two trials to leave the level.

The trials[]

The five trials are tested mainly by an entity referred to as "THE ONE", who determines if you are worthy enough to leave. The trials themselves test your willpower, memories, and mental strength, rather than physical strength. However, if one's spiritual state is not worthy enough, that person may be killed by the aforementioned entity named "THE ONE" or, rarely, be sent to Level !. But, if one does succeed, they will fall asleep, and end up in a random level, varying in difficulty based on your score. The trials themselves are called: "Desire", "Sadness", "Joy", "Anger", and "Resolve". Each trial lasts 4-5 hours, depending on how good you are at masking emotion.

Desire[]

In order to pass this trial, you will encounter a masked man wearing a suit, whose name is unknown. He will ask you to do your favorite activity and provide the activities equipment, but you must refuse to do so. He will then offer you your greatest desire, once again, you must refuse. He will then offer you to return to the Frontrooms, refuse it. The masked man will then offer you to an alternate reality of which lie all of your greatest desires, but you must refuse the offer once again. The final thing he will offer is to spare your life. It is the opposite of what it sounds like, and you must accept it. If you accept any of the offers (Except for the final offer) the man will tut at you and disappear. It is unknown what happens if you decline the last offer, though it can be inferred that you will probably die.

Sadness[]

In order to pass this trial, there will be three moments in which you will revisit things of your past. you must not show emotion during this. These memories can range from people bullying you, going to a loved one's funeral, getting a terrible score on a test, etc. This trial can often feel like forever, but if you manage to not feel sadness, you will pass this trial with ease.

Joy[]

In order to pass this trial, you will revisit memories and places that brought you joy. In order to pass, you must not feel happy, but feel other emotions instead. From visiting the amusement park as a kid or eating food that tasted like the best in the world, you must not feel happiness.

Anger[]

In order to pass this trial, you must walk down one mile in a hallway from somewhere in your past (usually a place with windows) while being shouted at by the voices (see entity section). They scream your regrets throughout life, your mistakes, your poor decisions, about things that you hate, etc. This can range from minor, inconvenient ones to your deepest, most stupid moments throughout your life. The voices whisper at first, but get louder as you walk further into the hallway, to the point where they scream your most regretful moments in life at you. Show no anger for these things, and you will pass onto the final trial.

Resolve[]

After reaching the doorway at the end of the hallway in the "Anger" trial, you will enter a small room. there will be a table with two chairs facing each other. When you sit down, an unknown figure will materialize in the chair opposite of you. The entity in question looks like a person in a faded red stovepipe hat with a matching Victorian suit. He will ask you questions about your life, from birth until you got into level 7000. You must answer all of them truthfully to pass. There will be about 25 questions in total, varying slightly from person to person. Once you truthfully answer them all, the figure will dematerialize, along with his chair and the table, and a white door will appear in front of you. This door will open up into a blank, white chamber, containing "THE ONE".

Entities[]

This level contains entities that are native to level 7000 and level 7000 only.

"THE ONE"[]

"THE ONE" is an entity that will judge you on your trials, and, based on the results, you will either be punished or rewarded by "THE ONE". Any type of camera or voice recorder will fail to work on the entity, but you can see what it looks like in the image below. However, we know the gist of what the entity says, and people still remember what "THE ONE" looks like. What this entity says based on the result of the trials is below.

The Positive Result[]

This section only happens if you get approved on at least 3 out of the 5 trials. "THE ONE" will remark on how you let go of your emotions, and go on a lengthy speech, varying based on your results. Afterwards, "THE ONE" will rap things up, and finally, send you to either a class 2 or 1 level (If you passed 3 trials), a class 0 level (If you passed 4 trials), or, if you passed each and every one of the trials, you will be sent to Level 3999.

The Negative Result[]

This section only happens if you pass less than 3 trials. "THE ONE" will talk about how you let your emotions get the better of you, and, depending on how well you did, criticize you on how you could've done a better job at being a good, neutral person in life. After "THE ONE" finishes talking about you, he will say some final words and send you to a class 3 or 4 level (if you passed 2 trials), a deadzone or class 5 level (if you passed only 1 trial), or, if you failed every single trial, "THE ONE" will effectively obliterate you. While we do not know what exactly happens to make you disappear, it can be easily guessed that you will die in some way.

Anna[]

Anna is a faceling that can be found in the "waiting room" part of this level. Anna appears to be wearing a red button-up shirt with a nametag saying "Anna" on it. Anna also wears jeans, with white sneakers and socks of an unnamed brand. Not much is known about them, but they appear to be recording who enters this level and what their score was in the trials on an unbranded laptop.

Masked man[]

Appearing in the "Desire" trial, this strange man askes the wanderer if they want various things, like if they want to do their favorite activity, or if they want an alternate universe all to themselves. The man wears a mask that covers their whole head, as well as a black suit and red bow tie, with black dress pants and fancy black loafers with white socks. Nothing else is known about this entity, or if they have any sort of backstory, as they only say the same things to everybody.

The voices[]

Native to the anger trial, this entity is specifically designed to be infuriating, usually looking like something that you absolutely despise, or, if you don't have any strong feelings of hate towards anything, they will look like family and friends, but twisted and malformed to the point of being disgusting looking. This entity can be commonly found in the anger trial, whispering insults, mistakes you made and things that you hate to you, slowly growing louder the further into the trial you go, eventually becoming screams of hatred and yells of spite. It is unknown what this entity's history or true form is. Perhaps it was created just for level 7000.

The resolve[]

The resolve is an entity appearing in the final trial. The resolve looks like a white man in a faded red stovepipe hat with a matching Victorian suit and tie, as well as black dress pants and faded red dress shoes and dark red socks. He will ask you questions about your life, from birth until you got into level 7000. If you answer truthfully to each one, you will pass. It is theorized that this entity is related to the Masked man, as they look similar and do similar things. However, this is not confirmed, as nothing is known about this entity's backstory either.

Colonies and Outposts[]

Due to the nature of this level, colonies and outposts cannot be established.

Entrances and Exits[] Entrances[]

To Enter Level 7000, you have two choices.

Rip up the tiles in Level 6999 and continue digging down. Eventually, you will find concrete. Breaking through it will make you fall through the roof of level 7000. Note: The concrete and tiles will automatically repair themselves as to avoid too much destruction.

Finding a cupboard and noclipping into it in level 7001 has a small chance to lead you here instead of level 0.2.

Exits[]

There is only one way to leave that does not require involving "THE ONE". Refer to the entities section for exits involving "THE ONE"

Find a 3-legged chair in the waiting room part of this level, and noclip into it to be sent to Level 7001.
