This error is thrown only when there is an inconsistency in your IMG settings

Please make sure you have the following in place.. If possible, provide a screen print incase these steps don't resolve

1. Create Accounting Principle in New GL and assign Acc. Principle to Ledger Group

Say, IFRS Acc. Principle is assigned to 0L Ledger Group. Incase you have multiple Acc Principles, you must define another Ledger and assign the Acc. Principle to the Ledger Group

2. Dep Area Set up in OADB should be like this (assuming you have LC1 and LC2)

Area -----> Posting Indicator  -----> Purpose -------> Acc. Principle

01  -------->1 --------> (Book Dep, LC1) ------> IFRS

10   ------> 0 --------> (Book Dep, LC2) -------> IFRS

Incase you another accounting principle, you will create Copy of 01 and 10 as say, 02 and 20 and assign it to relevant accounting Principle

3. After this, go to the IMG Step ORFA -> General Valuation - > Currencies - > Specify the Use of Parallel Currencies

Assign the Area 10 and 20 to LC2..

4. Also, go to the IMG Step "Define Dep Area for Foreign Currencies" and ensure that the Currencies assigned for all your Dep Areas is correct... (For 01, it should be Currency assigned in LC1, For 10, it should be the currency of LC2 and so on)

Once this is done, do the IMG Step ORFA -> Migration of New AA -> Migrate Charts of Dep

If all the is properly set up, it should not give you the Error
