In the Dutch market, DIN 11850 is one of the most widely used standards for dairy tubes. With the introduction of the EN 10357 standard, old standards have been adopted for all series. As a result, there is now one stand with four dimensions. In the overview below you can find which old standards have been adopted by the new EN 10357 standard.

According to the standard, the tube must be produced from cold-rolled material and is available in the quality 1.4301, 1.4307, 1.4404, 1.4432 or 1.4435. The tube according to EN 10357 is available in four different versions. These are coded by means of four different symbols. The possible versions can be found in the overview below.

According to the standard, the tube must at least meet an internal roughness of Ra ≤0.8 μm and on the weld seam an Ra ≤1.6 μm. As standard, Montakon has the tube with an internal roughness of Ra ≤0.8 μm and on the weld seam ≤0.8 μm and is available with a 3.1 certificate according to EN 10204.
