要】

外商直接投资是国际资本流动进一步发展的结果。外商投资可以为东道

国（大多为发展中国家）带来国内经济建设稀缺的资金

增加进出口贸易

,

改善国际

收支状况。由于外商投资对东道国经济的促进作用

,

各国将以吸引外资作为政府的

重点

,

并向外商投资企业提供了各项优惠措施。但有越来越多的研究表明

,

外商直接

投资并非是东道国经济发展的＂救命稻草＂

,

如果不能及时处理外商投资带来的负

效应

,

东道国的经济状况将更加不容乐观。

%Foreign direct investment is a 

further development result of international capital flows.Foreign 

investment for host countries

（

mostly developing countries

）

 can bring 

funds for the domestic economic construction,increase import and export 

trade,and improve the international balance of payments.Since foreign 

investment can promote the economy in the host countries,attracting it 

will be the main focus of the government which provides incentives for the 

foreign direct investment enterprises.But a growing number of studies 

have shown that foreign direct investment is not a straw to be caught at 

for economic development of the host countries.Unless the negative 

effects brought by foreign investment are handled with in time,economic 

situation in the host countries will become even more serious.
