《功夫熊猫》轰轰烈烈的席卷全中国，再一次证实了好莱坞强大的商业头脑和经济实力，这也是继《花木兰》之后西方人对中国文化的再一次研究和探讨。这一次虽然不敢说用完美形容，但也做到了没有多少瑕疵。毕竟中西文化的差异不是一部动画片就能弥补的了的。

中国极其低迷的原声产业市场，除了因为大量洋垃圾的冲击之外，本土音乐人的水平参差不齐以及缺乏系统指导的配乐产业链也让中国听众毫不买账。原声的引进版少，而且凑热闹的人数也并不多。但是这一次《功夫熊猫》的问世，也让发行商眼前一亮，成为了每年引进原声为数不多的作品之一。可见该片音乐中的中国元素的存在成为发行商所看好的一大卖点。
