麻栗坡县地貌以中低山峡谷为主，喀斯特地貌分布广，有峰林、峰丛、石牙、溶斗、洼地、溶洞等。地势由西向东南倾斜，山脉也大致呈西北-东南走向相间分布，从县西南部到东北部，依次分布着老君山、大黑山、大坪山。县境内大部分地区海拔在1200米以上。海拔最高点是老君山主峰2579米，最低点是盘龙河出入境国家级天保口岸107米。麻栗坡县地处低纬度，属南亚热带高原季风气候。立体气候明显。

Located in the southeast of Wenshan Prefecture, Yunnan Province, it is bordered by Funing County in the east, Maguan County in the west, Guangnan County and Xichou County in the north, and Ha Giang Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the south. In the county, there is 1 national first-class port, 14 border crossing points and 108 border passages.

Malipo topography and climate:

The landforms of Malipo County are dominated by middle and low mountains and canyons, and the karst landforms are widely distributed, including peak forests, peak clusters, stone teeth, karst buckets, depressions, and karst caves. The terrain slopes from west to southeast, and the mountains are also roughly distributed in the northwest-southeast trend. From the southwest to the northeast of the county, there are Laojun Mountain, Daheishan Mountain and Daping Mountain in turn. Most parts of the county are above 1200 meters above sea level. The highest point above sea level is the main peak of Laojun Mountain at 2579 meters, and the lowest point is 107 meters at the national Tianbao port of entry and exit of the Panlong River.
