The 55-kilometer Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a magnificent feat of engineering of China. With the bridge in place, travelling time between the three cities is cut down from three hours to thirty minutes. This reinforced concrete bridge with huge spans fully proves China ’s ability to create record-breaking megastructures. It will not only boost regional integration but also promote economic growth. The Bridge is the key in China’s overall plan to develop the Greater Bay Area. It is China’s intention to build the Greater Bay Area to match the Bay Areas of San Francisco, New York and Tokyo in terms of technological innovation and economic prosperity.

The Qinghai –Tibet railway or Qingzang railway, with a total length of 1956 kilometers and 960 kilometers at 4,000 meters above sea level, is the world’s longest high-elevation railway and the first railway that connects Tibet and other regions of China. Since the railway runs through the most fragile ecosystem in the world, measures have been taken to protect the ecological environment during and after its construction to ensure that it’s a “Green Railway”. The Airport’s annual passenger capacity is expected to reach 100 million in 2040, and thus making it the busiest airport in the world.
