The chronological disorder is an important narrative discourse and strategy which mainly refers to analepsis and prolepsis.

倒叙 (Anaplepsis/Flashback)

倒叙的定义：

In literature, a flashback is an occurrence in which a character remembers an earlier event that happened before the current point of the story.

在文学中，倒叙是指角色记忆里的在故事当前点之前发生的事件。

倒叙的两种类型：

外部倒叙: 那些讲述故事开始之前发生的事件。(External analepsis：those that recount events that happened before the story started)

内部倒叙：故事中的角色用回忆将读者带回已经发生过的事件。(Internal analepsis: those that take the reader back to an event that already happened but that the character is considering again)

倒叙的常见例子：

1 美国真人秀 - 《老爸老妈的浪漫史》，就是用一系列倒叙手法向孩子展示父亲如何遇到母亲的。

2 《伟大的盖茨比》：

In my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I’ve been turning over in my mind ever since.

“Whenever you feel like criticizing any one,” he told me, “just remember that all the people in this world haven’t had the advantages that you’ve had.”

在我年幼无知的岁月中，父亲给了我一些建议，让我思考至今：
