　　I spend most of the time at home during this summer vacation. When I was at home, I do homework by myself, and help my parents with the housework. But the most memorable time in this summer is when I travel in Yellow River Forest Park.

　　I went to visit the Yellow River Forest Park in July together with three of my classmates. It was very boring when staying in the bus for a long timewhich made me doze off all the time and at some time. I nearly struck my head on the chair in the front of me. After three hours journey by bus we finally got to the park. But to my disappointthere was nothing interesting here which were quiet normal things. Compared with the my school I stayed in here was very noisy and messy.

　　Though the park is beside the Yellow River the air is still a little smelly because there are a lot of animals such as horses cocks and so on here which make lots of wastes every day while few people clean them. In a word the park is not so good as I had expected and I felt unsatisfied about it.

　　I love traveling. Traveling not only broadens my horizons but also opens my eyes to the world. Whats more, it refreshes me. You can go to Disneyland and experience what its like to be "a child again!" You can visit one of the "seven wonders of the world," such as the Grand Canyon and feel the magnificence of nature! You can taste the "magical" ice water on a glacier, which can help you become more beautiful and make you live longer. Just forget all trifles and burdens that you have in your mind. 　　I took a trip to Shanghai with my mother during the seven-day holiday. It took us more than two hours to drive to Shanghai from my home in Haimen. We stayed in a large hotel on the eighth floor.

　　On the first day, I just stayed in the hotel and rested. On the second day, my brother and I went to Nanjing Road. Its the busiest street in Shanghai. When we got there, there were lots of people. We walked from one shop to another. I bought two T-shirts and two pairs of trousers for the ing summer. The T-shirts and trousers I bought are all white because white is my favourite colour. My brother also bought some clothes.

　　On the third day, my mother took me to Jinjiang Entertainment Centre. It was full of people. I played many kinds of gamesthere. I had a good time. The other days, I went to some other interesting places, such as the Oriental Bright Pearl TV Tower, the Huangpu River and Shanghai International Conference Centre. I didnt forget to do my homework in the evening. I had a full and happy holiday.

　　Once I was in Guangzhou, I had spent the happiest time in my life.

　　When I was in Guangzhou, I could travel alone. Because the underground could make my trip much faster and more convenient. There were four underground lines in Guangzhou. They could take us to every part of the city. That was so exciting. So I always enjoyed my self by taking the underground. Through the underground, I had visited so many interesting places, such as Beijing Road Walking Street, Haizhu Square, Sun Yat-sens Memorial Hall and Yuexiu Park.

　　They were great wonders. We couldnt see such great wonders anywhere except in Guangzhou. How I wish to visit Guangzhou again.

　　I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are Beijing, Dalian and HuHehot.

　　I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. Its a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. Its a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Dont mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.

　　Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.

　　Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the graland. I picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.

　　Making a trip to ShangHai on May 18 was an experience which I will never forget.

　　I arrived in ShangHai at about 2 oclock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldnt see the other side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water was such a great joy that I didnt want to stop.Then I collected shells.When it got dark,I sat on the shore,watching the sea.The night scene was simply marvelous!

　　Finally I had to go back.It was an unforgettable day in my life.

　　The second grade next semester, I learned a lesson called "Guilin Scenery under heaven ", after I read it I very want to go to Guilin. This summer, my father said I have progress, to reward me for a trip.

　　Yeah, finally can go.The morning of July 23rd, we very early with luggage, take the airport express to finish the Baiyun airport.9:40, the plane finally took off. After 45 minutes of smooth flight, we arrived at Guilin, we travel destination. 　　Not only being wealthy with travel resources, Xiamen has also temperate weather, fast and convenient transport and communication, and complete travel establishments. Admittedly, cross-border travel has more downsides than one. Firstly, the carbon dioxide planes emitted is reported to be disproportionately more than that emitted by other transportation means. The carbon dioxide will lead to ozone layer thinning and thereby increase the probability of people contracting skin cancer. Moreover, being easier and more convenient to travel among countries means that some criminals could flee to other countries after committing hideous crime. This will pose a threat to local security and community stability.

　　However, the downsides cannot overshadow its upsides. For starters, travelling around the world with more ease could expand individualshorizons and stimulate their love of life and they will be more productive at work in the future. Moreover, companies could visit foreign markets more conveniently than before and as a result, they could locate potential target market and sell goods there or buy materials from there if the price is competitively enough.

　　If a company could flourish this way, employees will benefit and the society in which companies are operating will be more stable and harmonies. Last but not least, if more and more people are afforded opportunities to go to other countries, there will be less misunderstanding and more respect among countries. All these will contribute to a diverse but harmonious culture.

　　To sum up, despite the numerous drawbacks mentioned above, travelling to other countries with more convenience and ease is, by and larrge, a positive development.

　　I think there is no one would say "no" to travel. People love travel, for it can make them relax and widen their vision. Some people like to travel with friends, because they want to share the pleasure of traveling, and they think the journey will be much easier for they can take care of each other. While some people like to travel alone, they can go anywhere in anytime. They dont have to care about what the partners idea. In my opinion, Im much preferred to travel with friends, but I always have an urge to travel alone.

　　Firstly, I was told that travel alone can help people to grow up quickly, and thats what I really need. If you travel alone, you have to do everything by yourself in the journey, for instance, to buy a ticket, to book hotel, and ask directions. That maybe just a small case for extrovert, but for introvert, like me, its really a big challenge. I remember the first time I go to travel with friends and my little brother, they did everything, and I just follow and had fun. I even too shame to check into a hotel, and my little brother did it for me. I was humiliated for that. So, travel alone could force introvert to do the things that you dont dare to do. It could help you to build an outgoing personality. For extrovert, travel alone could enhance your ability to handle emergence case.

　　Secondly, travel alone gives you peace of mind. Image that, you walking alone in the beach, there are no sounds of human beings, just burst of sound waves. You close your eyes, enjoy the moment, you will feel peace.

　　In short, travel alone could be loneliness and dangerous, especially for girls, but its worth having a try for the beautiful scene in the journey, it seems like all the things are just exist for you.
