Topic:

Pedi

The problem of ex-prisoners continuing to commit crimes is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach. While punishment may act as a deterrent for some, others may continue to reoffend due to underlying issues such as a lack of education and skills, as well as mental health problems. In this essay, I will explore the reasons why ex-prisoners continue to commit crimes and discuss possible solutions.

Governments need money to maintain essential infrastructure and provide better public service. Nowadays, Taxes are allocated for various kinds of essential matters. First of all, they are used for expanding and maintaining public transportation facilities, such expanding roads and highways, and replacing old public transportation units. Secondly, taxes are used for providing decent medical services and basic educations for their residents, because some people in impoverished countries cannot get access to tertiary education. And taxes can help them restore the basic right of receiving education. Therefore, people should not keep their earnings to themselves and they should comply in paying their tax duties and obligations.

Moreover, the tax system is beneficial for narrowing socioeconomic disparities and providing a safety net for the vulnerable members of society. Since individuals with higher incomes contribute a larger proportion of their earnings. The taxation system serves as a mechanism for redistribution of wealth and the promotion of social stability. If people were allowed to keep all their earnings, it would widen the gap between the rich and the poor, thus leading to various social problems, such as crimes or violent behaviors.

One of the main reasons why ex-prisoners continue to commit crimes is a lack of skills and education. Many ex-prisoners may not have had access to education or job training programs, which can make it difficult for them to find employment that pays a living wage. This can lead them back to criminal behavior as a means of survival.

Another reason why ex-prisoners may continue to reoffend is due to mental health problems. Incarceration can exacerbate existing mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety. Upon release, ex-prisoners may struggle to cope with the transition back into society and turn to drugs and criminal behavior as a means of self-medication.

To address the issue of ex-prisoners continuing to commit crimes, education and job training programs should be made available to inmates. These programs can equip them with the skills necessary to obtain employment and support themselves upon release. Additionally, counseling and mental health services should be provided to help ex-prisoners manage any mental health problems they may be experiencing.

In conclusion, the problem of ex-prisoners continuing to commit crimes is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach. Providing education and job training programs, as well as counseling and mental health services, can help ex-prisoners successfully reintegrateinto society and reduce the likelihood of them reoffending.
