Bio, career and facts of Coldplay

Coldplay are one of the most popular bands of the world with more than 100 million copies sold. The band was born in London in 1997 and consists of Chris Martin (voice, piano and acoustic guitar), Jonny Buckland (electric guitar), Guy Berryman (bass) and Will Champion (drums).

The band achieved the fame with the song Yellow included in the debut album Parachutes of 2000. Parachutes was followed by A Rush of Blood to the Head, elected album of the year by the magazine NME, which has made Coldplay know all over the world.

The career of Coldplay has continued his ascent with X&Y which become the best-selling album of 2005 and the collaboration with Brian Eno for Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008) winner of three Grammy Awards.

After Mylo Xyloto and Ghost Stories, Coldplay returned in 2015 with A Head Full of Dreams followed a successful tour which was officially the third-highest-grossing tour of all time with 5,5 fans.

The latest work of Coldplay is Music of the Spheres released in 2021 including the songs Higher Power, Let Somebody Go featuring Selena Gomez, Biutyfyl, Coloratura and the hit My Universe featuring the iconic k-pop band BTS.
