《专业英语与写作

（双语）》是材料成型及控制工程专业本科生的一门学科

基础

选修课。这门课程是以普通英语为基础，结合专业特点，在材料学基础、材

料成型及

控制工程（铸造、锻压、焊接及热处理）等方面向学生介绍科技英语的

阅读、翻译、

写作等应用知识。以教材为主，专业知识和期刊文章为辅安排教学

内容，选材上注意

铸造、锻压、焊接等金属材料成型的方法、工艺和特点，并介

绍一些材料学方面的知

识。

Control Engineering is a basic and elective course for the undergraduates in the 

subject of Materials Forming and Control Engineering. It is based on the ordinary 

English

the 

specialized 

subject. 

Some 

applied 

knowledge 

about 

reading, 

translating 

and 

writing 

in 

English 

for 

science 

and 

technology 

will 

be 

introduced 

to 

the 

students 

on 

fundamentals 

and 

materials 

forming 

and 

control 

engineering

especially 

casting, 

stamping, 

welding 

and 

heat 

treatment

）

. 

The 

teaching contents are arranged mainly from the text book, and also from supplements 

of the specialized knowledge and journal articles. The content selection is paid 

attention to the specialized processes, technologies and their features of metallic 

materials forming about casting, stamping and welding and so on, including a few 

of introductions to the fundamentals of materials science as well.
