《印象英美—穿越时空之旅》是一门文化类课程，旨在通过介绍英美文化知识，为学习者打开了解英美国家的一扇窗口。本课程顺着英语语言这条脉络，带学习者走近当今使用英语的两大国家—英国和美国，逐步了解英美文化的各个方面。课程内容包括英美语言文化、地理历史、媒体文学、艺术美食、礼仪节日等，为全面了解英美文化提供了丰富的文化养料，搭建了东西沟通的知识通道。本课程的亮点是教学材料中融合了丰富的教学素材，包括电子课件、视频、音频和教师面授，为学习者提供了试、听、说的多模态学习环境，提供了身临其境的学习感受，有助于提高学习效果。

考核评价体系原则上保持不变，采用形成性评价与终结性评价相结合的考核评价方式。过程性评价满分50分，其中线上学习部分的成绩来源于中国大学MOOC与学习通两个平台所提供的学习行为数据记录，包括单元测试，单元作业，课程讨论等网络数字形式记录。采用评价与反馈的循环改进教与学。

本课程适合具有一定的英语基础，想要进一步了解英美文化，希望提高英语综合能力的学习者。
