职位来源于智联招聘。 岗位职责: Job Title: Data Analyst 数据分析师 Department: Department of Policy Research and Data Analytics, Office of the President, HKUST(GZ) Job ID Job Posting Details Formally established in June 2022, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)(HKUST(GZ)) is a cooperatively-run higher education institution between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. HKUST(GZ) has obtained approval from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and become the first legally-independent educational institution co-established by the Mainland and Hong Kong since the announcement and implementation of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Co-operation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha of Guangzhou”. With a spirit of pioneering innovation, HKUST(GZ) charts new territories in cross-disciplinary education and explores new frontiers in pedagogies, aiming to serve as a role model of the mainland-Hong Kong integrated educational development and become a world-famous high-level university, endeavoring to nurture future-oriented, high-level and innovative talents. HKUST(GZ) comprises four Hubs, namely Function Hub, Information Hub, Systems Hub, Society Hub and offers 15 postgraduate degrees. The admission of undergraduate students will begin in 2023, with the first batch of programs covering artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology. Duties Assist the business analyst for business requirements analysis to facilitate data flows for end-to-end data processing.协助商业分析人员分析数据方面的业务需求，搭建端到端数据流。Build data analysis dashboards to present data to senior management levels for university operation decision making.分析数据，开发可视化数据报表为学校管理层提供大学发展决策需要的数据支持。University operation data gathering for data requirements by external regulatory departments. Build data templates (reverse engineering) for granular data collection.根据校外教学监督管理部门对大学管理的数据要求，开发数据收集模板，定期整理外部监管部门所需数据并按期上报。Assist the business analyst to build the data framework for data requirements required by external regulatory departments.协助商业分析人员根据相关部门对大学数据的收集要求，搭建数据收集流程。任职要求: Qualification Requirements Have a background of Engineering, preferably Information Technology, Computer Science or Statistics. Bachelor’s or master’s degree.本科及以上学历，信息技术，计算机科学或统计学等相关理工科专业。Experience in university or educational institutes would be highly desired.有高校工作经验者优先。At least 2-year experience in a data related area, understand the end-to-end data pipeline from technical aspect.具备两年以上数据领域工作经验，从技术角度了解端到端数据流程。A decent insight of data, the candidate can relate data to the business contexts and understand data in a full picture.对数据有一定的洞察力，可将数据与业务背景结合从整体层面分析，了解数据流程。Good skills in Excel Spreadsheet (Formulas, Pivot table), SQL, BI tools (Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau or others) and preferably, Python (it is an advantage to have but not required).熟练掌握微软表格管理工具(公式，数据透视表)，结构化数据库查询语言, 智能商业分析工具(PowerBI, Tableau 或其它)。掌握Python为佳。Fluent in English and Mandarin. Candidate with a CET-6 certificate or overseas study experience would be much appreciated.普通话及英语流利。拥有大学英语六级水平或海外留学经历者优先。Excellent inter-personal communication and time management skills.具备良好的人际交流及时间管理能力。This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST Mainland entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations.
