春运

“春运” ，是一个极具中国特色的词汇。维基百科上面对于Chunyun一词的解释是：

It is a period of travel in China with extremely high traffic load around the time of the Chinese New Year. The period usually begins 15 days before Lunar New Year's Day and lasts for around 40 days.

由于“春运”有着浓重的中国特色，我们在用英语形容它的时候，直接称呼 “Chunyun” 也是不为过的。不过今天给大家带来的是英语的表达！

“春运”一是表示春节前后的运输现象，二是指“春运期间”。

当指 “ 运输现象” 的时候，可以用 Spring Festival travel rush表示。

这里的rush为名词，意为“繁忙，忙碌”。如gold rush：淘金热。

当表示 “春运期间”时，可以用 Spring Festival travel season来表示。

例句：

Spring Festival travel rush is the largest human migration in the world.

春运可以说是世界规模最大的人类迁移。

It’s difficult to buy the train tickets, during the Spring Festival travel season.

春运期间，火车票非常难买。

ticket tout中的"tout"作动词时，有“兜售；招徕顾客”等意思，名词则为“兜售者”，常常用来表达 “黄牛党”“票贩子”。
