电影《弱点》（The blind side）是一部励志温情片，本片改编自美国国家橄榄球运动员迈克尔. 奥赫的真实经历。主人公迈克尔蠢萌蠢萌的，里面还有小美女莉莉.柯林斯，这部经典电影也是可以多看几遍的。台词没有特别难理解的单词，所以背起来也比较容易一点。

1.When I was little and something awful was happening...my mama would tell me to close my eyes. 在我还小时候，每当有坏事发生时，我妈妈都会叫我闭上眼睛，

She was trying to keep me from seeing her do drugs or other bad things. And when she was finished, or the bad things were over...

好让我看不到她吸毒或做其他坏事。当她吸完或者当坏事结束后，

she'd say, ''Now when I count to three, you open your eyes. The past is gone, the world is a good place, and it's all gonna be okay.

她就会说：好，当我数到三，你就张开眼睛，过去的都过去了，世界还是很美好，一切都会没事的。

2.I want you to do whatever you want.  It is your decision, Michael.  It's your life.

我希望你能做你想做的事。这是你的抉择，麦克。这是你的人生。

What if I wanted to flip burgers?  It's your decision. It's your life.

万一我想去麦当劳打工呢? 这是你的抉择，这是你的人生。

3.Courage is a hard thing to figure，

理解勇气是件很难的事，

You can have courage based on a dumb idea or mistake，

你可以因为笨主意或错误产生勇气，

but you're not supposed to question adults or your coach or your teacher,

但你不应该去质疑长辈，不该质疑你的教练或者你的老师，

because they make the rules, maybe they know best, but maybe they don't,

因为他们定下了规矩，他们也许是最懂的人，但也许不是，

it all depends on who you are,

这都取决于你是谁你从哪来，

where you come from didn't at least one of the six hundred guys think about giving up and joining with the other side?

难道不会有最少1/600的人考虑过放弃，而转投另外一边吗？

4.I mean,valley of death that's pretty salty stuff,

我是说，死亡之谷是个悲剧，

that's why courage it's tricky, should you always do what others tell you to do?

所以勇气是很微妙的，你应该总是对别人言听计从吗？

Sometimes you might not even know why you're doing something, I mean any fool can have courage, but honor,that's the real reason you either do something or you don't

有时你可能甚至不知道你为什么这么做，任何蠢人都可能有勇气，但荣耀才是你有所为，有所不为的真正动因。

5.It's who you are and maybe who you want to be, if you die trying for something important, then you have both honor and courage.

那才是真正的你，才是你想成为的你，若为重要的事情努力而失去生命，那么你就拥有荣耀和勇气。

that's pretty good, you should hope for courage and try for honor, maybe even pray that the people telling you what to do have some, too.

这非常好，你应该希望拥有勇气，努力得到荣耀，也许甚至恳求别人教你怎么来去做这些。
