高频词让小学生学习英语更简单

Phonics自然拼读的拼读规则不少，还有一些例外规则，对于英语为第二外语，尤其许多sight words都不认识的孩子来说，学起来会有点枯燥，容易让孩子失去学英语的兴趣。

如果认识大部分sight words（英语高频词）的孩子来学习Phonics自然拼读后，他们以后在碰到许多没有学过的、符合拼读规则的单词时，都能够自己拼读出来，这样很容易让孩子产生成就感，有良性循环，让孩子的英语水平和兴趣不断提升。

高频词出现频率

Sight Word是基础程度的词，英语文中出现频率高达 60%~85%。如果小学生在阅读之前学过sight words，那么在阅读初级读物时，基本能看懂书中70%~80%的内容，其余的生词可结合配图及上下文来猜测，也可以通过自然拼读Phonics来解决，这样不仅可以提高小学生阅读的兴趣，还能培养孩子猜测词义的能力，这样一来孩子就顺利踏出英语阅读的第一步了。

Sight Word针对小学生，由美国学者Edward William Dolch所列出Dolch Word List 。
