SolutionIn rare circumstances, this problem occurs when you try to remove certain shared components during uninstallation. Complete the following steps to resolve this problem. Using Command Prompt: Make note of which part of LabVIEW was uninstalling when the error occurred. It usually occurs during the聽LabVIEW Core-Full聽part, the聽LabVIEW 7.1 Runtime Engine聽part, or during both.When the error 1603 dialog box prompts you to continue the operation, click the聽Yes聽button.If prompted to restart your computer after the uninstallation completes, click the聽No聽button.For each part that generated an error during the uninstallation, run the corresponding MSI files manually from the CD: LabVIEW Core-Full --聽[CD Drive]\components\lvcorefull\lvcorefull.msi聽(you may also download the files -- see related links below)LabVIEW 7.1 Runtime Engine --聽[CD Drive]\components\lvruntimeeng\lvruntimeeng.msi Click the聽Repair聽button.Run the MSI file for the same part again.Click the聽Remove聽button. LabVIEW 7.1 should be completely uninstalled.Using Microsoft Fix-It Utility: If you are unable to uninstall using National Instruments Package Manager or through instructions above, use Microsoft Fix-It Utility.
