It has been long established now that an electro goblet is superior to atk% goblet in Raiden hyper carry. But as I’ve seen a lot of people recently recommending to people with amazing atk% goblets to push for an electro damage one I feel the need to say this. Electro goblet is better but I think the degree to which it is better, given that the substats are similar, is incredibly exaggerated. I spent 6+ months chasing the set up to use an electro goblet, only to end up being very underwhelmed at the results and switching back to the atk% goblet.

The electro goblet had 7.8 CR / 26.4 CD over all stats were 68.4 CR / 165 CD, 258 ER. The atk% goblet had 11.3 CR/ 21.8 CD, overall stats were 71.9 CR/ 161.9 CD, 265.4 ER. The difference in performance wasn’t noticeable at all and the atk goblet was only hitting for ~1500 less on the initial strike fully buffed.

If your atk% goblet had great stats like mine I would suggest you spend your resin to improve something else, but if you are dead set on it then have at it.

Edit: I’m referring specifically to people running Raiden hyper carry as if you aren’t the difference will change. If you run a team like Mona, Kazuha and Bennett, atk is actually superior in that regard. For people who use c6 sucrose instead of kazuha, when I tested the electro dmg did 368,470 while the atk percent did 365,470. The difference was still negligible. This test was with sac fragments instead of Hakushin ring because I was comparing it with another result in the comments that used sac.

Take note of your weapon as well because I use Engulfing lightning. Either way, if both builds have overall similar stats there should not be a huge difference.
