5月25日，2024年 “感知中国”——第十四届上海高校外国留学生龙舟赛暨第二届长三角高校外国留学生龙舟邀请赛在华东理工大学盛大举行。复旦大学、上海交通大学、中国科学技术大学和浙江科技大学等来自江浙沪皖的34所高校、106个国家的765名参赛选手齐聚一堂，共同迎接端午佳节，展开了一场别开生面的龙舟竞渡。

On May 25, 2024 Perception of China - the 14th Shanghai University Foreign Students Dragon Boat Race and the second Yangtze River Delta University Foreign Students Dragon Boat Invitational Competition was held in East China University of Science and Technology. More than 765 participants from 34 universities and 106 countries, including Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, University of Science and Technology of China and ZUST joined the competition and launched a unique dragon boat race.

比赛现场，34支参赛队伍在激昂的鼓声中相继出发，犹如一条条巨龙在河面上穿梭。初次参赛的我校留学生龙舟队奋力拼搏、激烈角逐，以1分00秒72的成绩取得小组第二，总体排名第十七的佳绩。成绩的取得凝结着队员们和教练辛勤的付出和汗水，展现了我校学子不断自我超越的体育精神。同日，我校留学生龙舟二队还参加了浙江科技大学第六届水上运动会。

At the scene of the competition, 34 participating teams set off one after another in the impassioned sound of drums, just like a giant dragon shuttling across the river. The international dragon boat team of ZUST, which participated in the competition for the first time, worked hard and won the second place in the group with the result of 1 minute 00.72 seconds, ranking 17th overall. The achievement of the team members and coaches condensed the hard work and sweat, showing the sportsmanship of continuous self-transcendence. On the same day, the substitute dragon boat team of our school also participated in the Sixth Water Sports Meeting of ZUST.

本年度的校内外龙舟赛事受到全体留学生的关注。在今年比赛中，既有老队员，也有第一次参赛的新队员，以老带新，共同努力。龙舟竞技激发了同学们探索中国传统文化的兴趣，让大家深入体验了中国传统文化的魅力，并在活动过程中凝聚力量，增进友谊，增长见识。在未来的日子里，相信同学们将传承这份拼搏和奋进，在学习和生活中，脚踏实地，努力奋斗，勇创佳绩。

This year's dragon boat races attracted the attention of all international students. In the race, there are both old team members and new team members participating for the first time. Dragon boat racing stimulates students' interest in exploring Chinese traditional culture, allowing them to deeply experience the charm of Chinese traditional culture, and gather strength and enhance friendship during the activity. In the coming days, we believe that the students will inherit this struggle and endeavour, work hard in study and life, and create outstanding achievements.
