Dear Jennifer,

亲爱的詹妮弗:

Greetings from Beijing, China.

1  我在中国北京向你问好。

Thank you for your concern about me. I'm glad to tell you that I'm now a student of Haidian Vocational School in Beijing. I am here to learn Chinese cooking.

2  感谢你对我的关心，我很高兴地告诉你，我现在是北京海淀职业学校的学生了，我在这里学习中国烹饪。

A month ago, I came to Beijing. When I got to this school, everything was strange to me. You know, I cannot speak and understand Chinese. At first, I couldn't follow the teachers in class and l felt nervous. Luckily all the teachers and students here are very kind and friendly to me. They show great concern about my life and study. Now, /'m glad to say that with the help of the teachers and my classmates, everything is going well. 

3  一个月前，我来到北京，当我到这所学校的时候，一切对我都是陌生的，你知道我不会说，也听不懂汉语。开始的时候我听不懂老师讲课，觉得很紧张，幸运的是，这里所有的老师和同学都对我很友善，他们十分关心我的生活和学习，现在我可以高兴的说，在老师和同学们的帮助下，一切进展顺利。

We have four classes in the morning and three in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. In the morning, we usually have lessons ins our classroom. In the afternoon, we sometimes go to the skill training center of our school to practice cooking skills. 

4每周一到周五上午上四节课，下午三节课，上午我们一般在教室上课，下午我们有的时候去技术培训中心实训（练习烹饪技术）。

After class, we have many interesting activities. On weekends ,I  often go to have classes of the Chinese language or go sightseeing around the great and beautiful city of Beijing, I'm having a good time here.

5  课后我们有很多趣味活动，周末我经常去上汉语语言课，或者在这座伟大美丽的城市里观光。我在北京过得很愉快。
