闵敏,理学博士,中山大学大气科学学院教授,博士生导师

Dr. Min Min, Professor of School of Atmospheric Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, Doctoral Supervisor

博士毕业于中国科学院大气物理研究所,入选中山大学“百人计划” 中青年杰出人才,曾在中国气象局国家卫星气象中心和美国马里兰大学长期从事科研工作。主要研究方向为卫星气象与大气辐射学。截至目前已发表科研论文近100篇,其中SCI论文60多篇,引用2000多次,多篇论文被国际一流SCI期刊Nature Communications,Remote Sensing of Environment等收录。获得发明专利1项,软件著作权1项。主持多项国家自然科学基金项目和GF重大专项,并作为项目骨干参与了多项国家科技部863、重点研发、国家公益性行业专项的研究工作。担任国内中文期刊《地球与行星物理论评》编委,国际SCI期刊Remote Sensing专刊Guest Editor与Member of Topic Advisory Board以及多个国际一流SCI期刊审稿人。曾获得中国气象学会“涂长望青年气象科技奖”(国内气象行业最高青年科技奖),北京大学“谢义炳青年气象科技奖”等多个科技奖项。

研究成果和方向 (Research Achievements and Interests)

1. 新一代静止气象卫星云特性、强对流、风场等天气要素反演技术和应用研究

主导研发了国际先进的新一代静止气象卫星科学算法系统,作为一项自主研发的关键核心技术奠定了我国新一代静止风云四号科学算法物理基础和原型。其中,所发展的静止气象卫星高精度云检测、云顶性质、云光学和微物理特性、强对流预警等科学算法被成功应用到中央气象台、国家卫星气象中心、国家气象信息中心、广东省气象局等多个国家和省一级气象业务部门。有效支撑了卫星资料在日常天气预报与短临预警、国家级数值天气预报模式同化和我国地球系统模拟器“寰”中的应用。最近几年,探索先进的机器学习算法在中尺度强对流、云特性、降雨、风场等重要天气要素物理反演中的应用潜力,帮助我们更好的去理解云、暴雨、强对流等天气过程的发生、发展机制,并在天气预报和预警中应用。

2. 卫星微光通道夜间大气辐射传输理论、模拟和应用研究

       卫星夜间微光通道的低能量观测给我们带来了一个独特的视角去了解地球系统以及人类社会演变,但相关的大气辐射传输过程十分复杂与独特,制约了该资料的定量应用水平。我的研究关注夜间月光照射下的大气辐射传输理论问题,研究了周期性变化月球光谱辐照度对夜间微光通道有云大气辐射传输模拟的影响,发现了月-地距离变化对平面平行大气辐射传输计算的误差作用,并发展了高精度快速修正算法。在理论研究的基础上,还发展了一套夜间微光大气辐射传输数值模式,实现了夜间微光观测的数值模拟能力,为卫星夜间微光通道定量应用提供正演模型基础。我国风云三号卫星E星(晨昏轨道)上也搭载了自主研发的微光成像仪,我们还积极探索发展相关的数据处理技术和资料的应用价值。
