严兴杰，男，汉族，甘肃武威人，1980年12月生。现任中国矿业大学数学学院副教授、硕士生导师。多年来从事非线性泛函分析及无穷维动力系统的基础研究。入选第九批中国矿业大学优秀青年骨干教师，美国数学(Mathematical Reviews)评论员；获得徐州市科学技术进步一等奖（2012）；徐州市工业与应用数学学会论文一等奖（2010）；淮海地区科学技术进步二等奖（2014）；淮海地区科学技术进步一等奖（2016）；江苏省教育教学成果(科学技术类)三等奖（2016）；煤炭科学技术进步奖二等奖(2019)。主持国家自然科学青年基金1项；主持数学天元青年基金1项；江苏省青年基金1项，中国博士后基金面上二等资助1项，江苏省博士后科学基金C类自助1项，中国矿业大学青年基金1项，参与多项国家自然科学基金；担任本专业多个国际SCI 期刊的审稿人等，在《Trans. London Math. Soc.》, 《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical System-A》，《International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaoes》，《International Journal of Mining Science and Technology》等国外重要学术刊物上发表高水平学术论文30余篇。
