众所周知，英汉互译不仅是我们浙江专升本考试中重要的一项，在三四级写作中也少不了Ta的身影。那么如何进行进行翻译，来达成我们所谓的 信、达、雅呢，除了看视频，今天学姐用文字的形式，带大家盘点一下 英汉互译中的常见句型。

1、not only… but also   （不但…而且…）

例句：在短短的三年的时间里，______________（他不但完成了所有课程，还获得了博士学位）。

In just three years, he not only finished all courses, but also got the PhD.  ——过去三年，注意时态。

例2：他不仅乐于接受别人的观点，而且也很耐心。

He is not only acceptable to others’ opinions but also very patient.

2、 either…or   （或者… 或者 …）

例句：如果考试过关，你可以买一个MP4或去北京玩一趟。

If you can pass the examination, you could either buy an MP4 or go to Beijing for a visit.

3、neither…nor （既不… 又不 …）

例句：他是一个无聊的人，既不爱娱乐，也不爱读书。

He is a boring man who likes neither entertainment nor reading.

4、倍数的翻译

 （1）as…as

这栋楼有三个人那么高。

This building is as high as three people.

（2）数字+times as +形原型+as +比较对象。

地球的质量是月球的6倍。

The earth is six times as heavy as the moon.

（3）数字+times + 形比较级+than

X是Y的15倍。

X is 14 times bigger/heavier than Y.

5、one… the other (一只…另一只…)

你看见桌子上有两只笔吗？一只是红色的，另一只是黑色的。

Have you seen two pens on the desk? One is red, the other is black.

6、some…others\ other+名 （一些…另一些…）

我们班有许多外国学生，一些来自欧洲，一些来自美洲。

There are many foreign students in our class. Some are from America and others are from Britain

7、in order to \ so as to （为了…）

例1：他努力学习以实现他的梦想。

He studies very hard in order to make his dream come true.

例2：他拼命干活以便到五点时把一切都准备就绪。

He works very hard so as to make preparations for everything before five o 'clock.

8、 so… that\such….that （如此…以至于…）

他太自私了，一直都没有人愿意与他共事。

He is so selfish that no one wants to work together with him all along.

9、would rather do… than do （宁愿…也不愿…）

他宁愿听别人讲也不愿自己说。

He would rather hear what others say than express his own opinion.

10、 prefer doing to doing （比…更…）

他在办公室的时候，他总是愿找些事做而不愿意闲着。

When he is in his office,he would always prefer finding something to do to doing nothing.

11、prefer to do… rather than do （宁愿…也不愿…）

比起女人，男人总是宁愿在家睡觉也不愿花那么多时间来购物。

Compared with women, men would always prefer to sleep at home rather than spend so much time shopping.
