The people at Riot games are responsible for one of the most popular PC games ever made in the form of League of Legends, so when it was announced that they were working on a bunch of brand-new games heads were naturally turned. One of the games they were working on is what we now know as VALORANT; a first-person shooter built from the ground up to appease competitive gamers.

With 128-tick servers, an engine built so that the game can run at 60+ frames per second even on older computers (and obviously well above that on newer hardware) and a wide network of data centers all over the world to ensure a good connection for every player, it’s pretty clear that Riot has been doing their homework. Since its release back in the middle of 2020, the game has seen a healthy flow of new players coming in to see what’s going on, and its ability to draw in gamers who aren’t necessarily fans of first-person shooters is also interesting to see. Aside from that, VALORANT also has a thriving pro scene, so naturally, we want to offer you a complete VALORANT settings and gear list.

In this list, we’ve gathered the settings and gear of the top VALORANT players so that you can get an idea of how the pros are playing. As is the case with all of our pro-based articles and lists, this is far from a finished article. We’ll add players and update our settings every day, and as usual, we’d love to hear from you if you see any outdated information or if you’d like to see players added to our list. Monitor settings (if available) can be found on the pages of the players themselves, though you can also check out Zowie’s (who make the XL line of monitors: those are the most used VALORANT monitors) recommended settings here. I think if u comfortable in game, when u clear angle, do 180 a few times and another, so just train your sens, bro. Should try aimlab maybe for another situations, if not just change and try it, just use comfortable sens for all situations, not for close or range aiming. You do realise that every single EDPI calculation is incorrect, right? You haven’t calculated their EDPI at all, since you haven’t accounted for the fact that Valorant doesn’t have 1:1 sensitivity, unlike CSGO. If you want to calculate the EDPI, you need to multiply these numbers by 3.1847133758, to account for the fact that valorant has 0.314:1 sensitivity conversion. Also, another criticism; you round your numbers down, instead of to the closest digit, making your calculations quite inaccurate. Take Elige for example, when you do the first step of your calculation, his EDPI is 372.8, yet you mark it as 372 instead. If we do it properly, his EDPI would be 372.8 * 3.1847133758 = 1,187.2611464982 (which can be rounded to 1,187.26).

I’ll be perfectly honest, it’s a bit embarrassing to run a website whose main purpose is to show pro players’ sensitivities, then not even calculate any of them properly.

It seems you dont know what EDPI is. EDPI is simply what is called effective dpi, which is different from game to game. Edpi = Ingame sens * DPI. Thus, the edpi is different from csgo to valorant and other games. What he should use in my opinion is CM/360, which can be compared amongst games. As for rounding down. Does it really matter? You can see their DPI and sens, so if you would like to copy settings, then you can copy their dpi and sens.

Thank you for the feedback, but our eDPI calculations are correct (save a few miscalculations here and there, of course).

As another user has pointed out: eDPI is different from game to game, there is no ‘overall’ eDPI calculation since different games calculate sensitivity differently. An eDPI of 200 in CS:GO is vastly different from an eDPI of 200 in VALORANT; it’s meant to compare effective sensitivity (hence the ‘e’ in ‘eDPI’) between players regardless of their hardware and software settings. Noted on the rounding, thanks for the feedback!

We are looking at using cm/360 in all of our games for an effective way to measure the real world sensitivity across different games in the (near) future, eDPI isn’t meant to compare across games.

I don’t know where you got the idea that EDPI is “different from game to game”, but that’s simply false. This is a misuse of the term, and not what it was made for. EDPI has always been used in the context of an absolute sensitivity, not a relative one.

DPI is the measure of your mouse sensitivity, at a hardware level. It is an absolute metric, not a relative one (sourcing for this below).

EDPI is the measure of your DPI (hardware level) multiplied by the ingame sensitivity multiplier, *assuming* the in-game sensitivity multiplier has 1:1 ingame sensitivity to DPI multiplier.

What you’re referring to as EDPI, is something relative to the game, and not the absolute metric that EDPI was created as.

Why adding “effective” before the word “DPI” would change it from being an absolute metric to a relative one, is beyond me. For your definition to work, you need to fundamentally redefine what the definition of DPI is.

For sourcing purposes, here is the original DPI definition from multiple sources:

May I suggest using a more appropriate term, such as “effective sensitivity” instead? As “sensitivity” is used in the context of software (relative metric), as opposed to how DPI & EDPI are used (absolute metric).

Just because CS:GO has 1:1 sensitivity, and people could calculate “EDPI” and “effective sensitivity” the same way, doesn’t mean that they are the same thing, and this really needs to be highlighted for games that lack that 1:1 conversion ratio.

Hopefully that clarifies things, and this can be updated appropriately.
