Today I unknowingly left my set of keys in my jacket pocket inside my car when I went for coffee. When I couldn’t find my keys, the first thing I did was to go to the coffee-shop cashier and asked, “Has anyone turned in a set of keys?”(今天我去喝咖啡的时候不小心把钥匙忘在车里夹克口袋里了。当我找不到钥匙时，我做的第一件事就是去咖啡店的收银员那里问:“有人把钥匙交上来了吗?”)

In this case, the expression “turned in” means “submitted”.(在本例中，表达式“turn In”表示“提交”。)
