Spread yourself too thin: to try to do too many things at the same time, so that you cannot give enough time or attention to any of them. 同时做太多事情（以致没有足够时间或精力关注其中之一，即无法做好，或影响健康）;  贪多嚼不烂, 样样做不好。

Don't spread yourself too thin. 别让过多的事情分散了你的精力。

Some people spread themselves too thin by taking on too many activities. 有些人从事太多的活动，结果是贪多嚼不烂，样样做不好。

The company has expanded into many different areas and has probably spread itself too thin. 公司已经扩展到许多不同的领域, 有可能业务变得过于分散。
