Scorpions（汉译蝎子乐队），德国最著名的重金属摇滚乐团。   Scorpions 70年代初期发迹于汉堡北方的工业重地汉诺威。在乐团灵魂人物吉他手，也是创团团员的Rudolf Schender，以及声音让人一听就难以忘怀的主唱Klaus Meine的带领下，Scorpions以狂泄的快速吉他演奏、强有力的打击乐器以及辐射极高能量的演唱风格成为欧洲70年代数一数二的重金属领导乐团，主唱Klaus可以飙高到震慑人心地步的歌声，亦成为Scorpions最著名的代表特色之一。80年代中期Scorpions以首席的遥滚乐团之姿狂野横扫欧美乐坛，是少数获得全球性成功的欧洲乐团。他们拥有三张排行Top 10经典专辑：《Blackout》、《Love at First Sting》、和《Savage Amusement》。1988年Scorpions更成为第一支到苏俄表演的重金属乐团。   Scorpions最早成立于1969年，由 Rudolf Schenker（主唱/节奏吉他手），Karl-Heinz Follmer（主音吉他手），Lothar Heimberg（贝斯手），Wolfgang Dziony（鼓手）组成。1971年，Rudolf Schenker 的弟弟 Michael Schenker 加入乐队，担任成为主音吉他一职，好朋友 Klaus Meine 则离开了汉诺威乐团Copernicus，成为新的主唱。Rudolf Schenker和Klaus Meine成为顶尖的词曲创作二人组，为一个成功的故事立下基石。 1972年，Scorpions 推出了第一张专辑《Lonesome Crow》，专辑中的一些歌曲后来被用在一部电影的原声唱片中。这张专辑由Conny Plank在汉堡制作。这时，我们已能听到后来发展成Scorpions典型音乐的嗓音和乐器成分∶不妥协的吉他主导硬式摇滚，脉络承袭自六零年代中期的Jimi Hendrix、Cream和Led Zeppelin。Scorpions的乐风结合了两把电吉他∶独特、强劲有力的吉他刷弦加上有创意和爆发力的吉他独奏。在吉他铺陈之上，是主唱和团长Klaus Meine鲜明、富旋律性且成熟世故的声音线。Scorpions为了从一开始就晋身国际硬式摇滚乐坛，因此Klaus Meine用英文写所有的歌词，这在德国摇滚乐坛是前所未见的。

重金属摇滚乐队的代表、来自德国汉诺威的Scorpions（蝎子乐队）成立于1965年！   可以说，Scorpions是近40年来最具有现场冲击力的摇滚乐队。这支乐队总是不断的创造出在硬摇滚史上占有一席之地的绝佳之作。直到目前为止，仍然没有一张单张的精选合集能够充分体现这支乐队的特点和摇滚魅力。 首度来华演出

2015年2月16日，打破壁垒、撼动地球的世界摇滚王牌蝎子乐队确认将于2015年5月1日－2日在江苏镇江世业洲上举办的长江国际音乐节压轴献艺！   德国蝎子乐队创始于1965年，50载自始至终都坚持重金属、硬摇滚风格。乐队现有成员包括Rudolf Schenker（节奏、主音吉他手）、Klaus Meine（主唱、吉他手）、 Matthias Jabs（主音、节奏吉他手）、James Kottak（鼓手）、Pawel Maciwoda（贝斯手）。一曲《Wind of Change》，自80年代末便风靡全球。悠扬的口哨、魔幻的吉他、穿越时空的韵律 － 蝎子乐队在历史的变革中谱写了一曲后人再难以逾越的音乐里程碑，它的成功超越了种族、语言和年龄的限制。Youtube上高达1.08亿次的视频点击率让蝎子成为第一支点击量突破1亿大关的德国乐队。乐迷对其音乐强有力的节拍、激昂顿挫的旋律和极富感染力的现场氛围一直顶礼膜拜，这使得他们集聚了世界上最大和最具摇滚精神粉丝团之一。2015年五一的长江国际音乐节，蝎子乐队将首次为中国乐迷们献唱！   据悉，与其他音乐节不同，2015年长江国际音乐节将首度尝试“音乐节”+“演唱会”的全新模式 － 此次将为中国的蝎子迷们倾心打造长达90分钟的蝎子乐队“回归永恒50周年巡演”专场演唱会！这是2015长江音乐节在音乐品质上最有诚意的追求！相关负责人向记者表示，长江国际音乐节将以其长期积累的国际化运营班底全力服务蝎子乐队，以便让观众获得国际化演唱会的完整体验。该负责人还透露，蝎子乐队将在音乐节上献上多首经典曲目。   长江国际音乐节自2012年成立以来，一直秉承“音乐无界 生活万岁 Unbounded Music ?
