① 第一志愿 the first choice

② 第二志愿 the second choice

③ 第三志愿 the third choice

“一本、二本和三本（院校）”用英语该怎么说？

一本、二本和三本（院校）也被称为“本科一批、本科二批和本科三批”，所对应的英文就是batch，该词本身具有“批次”的意思。

① the first batch of universities 一本院校

② the second batch of universities 二本院校

Beijing has also combined its first and second batches of universities for students to apply, but allows students to apply to up to 16 universities and 6 majors at each.

北京也将本科一批、二批合并，设置16所平行志愿高校，每个志愿高校设置6个志愿专业。

③ the third batch of universities 三本院校

“被录取”用英语该怎么说？

① be admitted to/into

关于admit，大家再熟悉不过了。作为动词，admit除了最常用的“承认”的意思，还有“接受，接纳（入学）”的意思，常用于被动语态，即be admitted to/into。

值得一提的是，这里的be可以与get互换使用。

I was admitted to Harvard University。我被哈佛大学录取了。

She admitted that she had been admitted into the university by chance.她承认她被那所大学录取纯属偶然。

② be enrolled by

关于enroll，这个词大家也不陌生。作为动词，它最常用的意思就是“登记；把...计入名册”，当然它也有“予以录取”的意思。

I wish that I could be enrolled by a famous university.

我希望我可以是进入一所著名的大学。

The good news that her son had been enrolled by Tsinghua University cheered the sad woman up.

儿子已被清华大学录取的好消息使这位悲伤的妇女大为振奋。

③ be accepted by

He told me that he had been accepted by a prestigious university。

他告诉我他已经被一所名校录取了。

④ receive the admission notice/the letter of admission

这里的the admission notice和the letter of admission都是指“录取通知书”。千万注意admission一词，名词，表示“录取（入学）”

My mind was set at ease at last after receiving the admission notice。

收到录取通知书后，我的心才放下了。

She sent the good news to her family as soon as she got her letter of admission。

她一拿到录取通知书，就向家里飞报了这一好消息。
