这样做不仅可以建立一个自信心十足的形象,而且可以展现出你对他人的尊重,更重要的是你有机会可以引导双方之间的对话。

3. 从关于当前环境,情况,天气,交通,住宿等等的陈述或问题开始,同时恭维也是开始对话的好方法。

例如,如果你想以天气来开展对话,你可以说:

"Looks like rain is in the forecast."

"What a beautiful day today!"

“The weather in Guangzhou has kept changing recently.”

或者如果你想谈论对方的住宿,你可以说:

“Which hotel are you staying at?”

“A few other clients have also stayed there. They said it was quite nice.”

4. 做好功课,准备充足。阅读报纸和新闻杂志,了解世界正在发生哪些事,准备好对方感兴趣的话题或经历。

你可以事前对对方的情况做一定的资料收集,以便在对话中可以由此切入。有时,对方身上一些细微的东西也可以作为话题,比如,如果你看到一个人的名字徽章,上面写着,他来自洛杉矶,那你就可以说:

“Los Angeles—I heard that’s a great city! I can’t wait to pay a visit!”

如果你看到客户的办公桌上有一幅家人一起坐邮轮出游的照片,你可以说:

“Where did you go on vacation?And how was it?”

甚至,如果他的电话铃声是一首你很熟悉的歌曲,你还可以说:

“Is that Coldplay? I saw them in concert a few years back. What a show!”

“I saw your headquarters are located in Dallas, Texas. My sister lives in Dallas.”

“Oh, you’re from Colorado? I heard there are some great places to ski there.”

又或者,你可以谈论对方的大学:

“So you’re a University of Michigan alumna? Did you see that football game last night?”

“You went to the University of Texas? My sister went to Rice University in Houston, but she used to always drive over to Austin for the weekends.”

6. 聆听。控制内部和外部的干扰,保持专注,小心走神。真正,认真地听取他人的意见是对他人的最高赞美。

7. 将你的语气保持在一个轻松积极的调子上,直到你找到一个双方都感兴趣的话题。

8. 讨论电影,戏剧,体育,书籍,电影,食物,旅行和业余爱好等一般兴趣主题。这样你就可以建立一个平易近人的,友好的形象。

“You like Cantonese restaurant ? I love it too. In fact, there’s a great Cantonese restaurant downtown.”

“Are you a sports fan? That basketball game yesterday had me glued to my seat. Wasn’t that a great save at the very end?”

9. 开口之前先想清楚。开口前的思考能让你看起来很体贴,也能帮助你避免失礼,或者避免说出一些本不该说的话。

10. 闲聊一般持续5-10分钟为好,在闲聊结束,进入正式洽谈之前,你可以说:

“It's great to hear the team is doing well and had a nice weekend. Moving on to the agenda for the day, we will be discussing TOPIC. ”

最后,我想给大家一个小提示,如果你和对方不是很熟悉,以下的这些话题应该尽量避免触及:

1、你的健康或者饮食习惯

2、私人话题

3、八卦话题

4、低俗的笑话

当你不了解参与会谈的其他人的时候,不要讨论有争议性的话题,比如政治和宗教。
