@thelinuxdude Actually, in the only case where I could reproduce it reliably in mt7915e it seems like disabling client-to-client communication (ap_isolate option in hostapd) it was possible to avoid the issue.

Basically, if ap_isolate is off it is possible for a client to spam the AP with multicast traffic which triggers this issue and causes MCU to crash and require a system reboot. So I think this means that the issue is tied to TX not RX as it appears that the issue only occurs when the AP transmits the traffic, not when it receives it; but maybe I'm wrong on that.

I don't think the issues between mt7615e and 7915e are related, though I had better stability on mt7615e by using stock chip firmware (which was more recent than linux-firmware) with mt76 and it didn't crash as frequently.
