Pizza madness challenge Round 3: Final Four voting starts now for Collier CountyDiana Biederman   Naples Daily News

Did your vote in our Sweet 16 and Elite 8 earlier rounds elicit cravings for a foldy-soft, steamy, wood-fired Neapolitan? Or are you partisan to girthy pan-styled Sicilian, Detroit, Roman pizza al taglio or Chicago deep-dish pies?

Would anything else pass your pizza praiseworthiness? Are you willing to scorch the roof of your mouth trying?

You might be muttering geez, she asks a lot of questions but over the course of three and a half days, it was quite the squeaker, with only 3 to 7% of votes separating competitors at any given moment.

One last question: Will you vote if yours didn’t move up? Fun fact: nearly 800 more votes were cast in Round 2 over Round 1.

Round 3 voting closes March 23 at 2 p.m. Scroll down to our Final Four as determined by 6,558 readers who voted in the Elite Eight showdown. The scoring breakdown below comes from Crowdsignal, the independent auditing site that tallies all votes.

La Trattoria vs. Luigi's

Among 900 votes cast, Luigi's squeaked by, nabbing a mere 20 more in the final hours when going head-to-head with Joey D's. (2331 Tamiami Trail E., Naples; 239-775-6669; luigisofnaples.net)

ZZA Baby vs. Twisted Sheep

What to look for: Two extremely distinct pizza styles — Chicago vs. chef-driven — with an entirely different fanbase. This bracket will ultimately determine who has the loudest and largest cheering section.

Zza Baby earned its victory over Pizzata by 51 votes among a total of 1,225 cast. Will Chicagoland's snowbirds be the winning factor? (9118 Strada Place, North Naples; 239-591-5459; zzababy.com)

Cinderella can toss her clock: Twisted Sheep had just enough nominations to qualify in the Sweet 16, earning a spot against LowBrow and then scoring a surprising first-round win. In the most hotly contested Elite Eight bracket match-up against New York Pizza & Pasta, 3,447 total votes were cast; Twisted Sheep scored 1,792.
