雷锋简介

Lei Feng, a model soldier of the People's Liberation Army, originally named Lei Zhengxing, was born in a poor peasant family in a small mountain village of Hunan province on December 18 1940. He was orphaned at 7 years old. He did not go to school until 1950. At the age of 18, he worked as a steel worker. He was often praised for his good performance. On January 8 1960, he joined the army. In the same year, he joined the Communist Party of China. He had unified love for the country, the Communist Party of China and the people and constantly did good deeds for people. As a result, he was entitled an excellent soldier.

After his death, the Chairman Mao Zedong called on people to “Learn from the comrade Lei Feng”. The whole nation were moved by his deeds. Lei Feng spirit will live in our hearts forever.
