JOJO 系列基本上就是大卫社制作水平的发展史。全系列原盘画质可以分五类： 1. 第一季（幻影血脉 + 战斗潮流）。画质一般，原生分辨率为 720p，整体上采用了比较糊的拉升算法，后面几集有少数分镜偏锐利。四周有拉升产生的烂边。暗场还有比较严重的色带。 2. 第二季（星尘十字军）和第三季（不灭钻石）。画质一言难尽，是目前 JOJO TV 系列中最难处理的一类。原生分辨率为 720p，拉升算法非常混乱，时而线条锐利有严重的锯齿和振铃，时而线条模糊带有轻微锯齿，最离谱的集数甚至换一个分镜就变一次算法。 3. 第四季（黄金之风）。画质较好。原生分辨率升级到了 900p，带来了锐利度的显著提升。拉升算法也终于统一，线条只有轻微的锯齿。 4. 第五季（石之海）。画质一般，原生 900p，官方加了很强的锐化，导致线条锯齿和振铃非常严重。 5. OVA（岸边露伴一动不动）。画质一般。作为大卫社 720p 和 900p 制作的过渡时期的产物，前两集的原生分辨率为 720p，后两集原生分辨率为 900p。画质分别和第二类和第四类类似。 我们主要的处理手段是逆向拉伸重构、轻度抗锯齿、自适应去色带、补偿性锐化和自适应降噪。对于有拉升算法变化的情况，我们设计了自动化检测方法以实时选择合适的处理手段。由于本系列战斗场景极多，导致源有不同程度的压缩失真，我们使用了自适应去色块进行修复。本系列的噪点也比较多，如果完全保留的话成品体积轻松上 2G 一集，所以我们对噪点进行了时域稳定以控制体积。
