“It is/was said/reported/hoped... + that”是一个很常见的英语句型，今天优朗大学英语培训的刘老师就为我们带来了这个句型的解析。我们常说的“据说他结了两次婚。”或“根据报道，洗澡时间过长会致癌。”这些句子中都没有指名道姓的说出消息的散布者，这时便适合用这个句型。
句型解析：
1.It在句子中充当形式主语的被动语态句型
It is/was said/reported/hoped... + that是个典型的被动语态句型，其目的可以是为了使语言得体、圆滑等。句首的It在句子中充当形式主语，that引导的从句充当真正主语。
2.主语动词是现在或未来时态且从句动词不受影响的句型
在这个句型中，主句的动词是现在或未来时态时，从句的动词时态并不受影响。根据主句的动词的不同，可以形成下列句型，如：It is said that...(据说……），It is reported that...(据报道……），It is rumored that...(据传言……），It is believed that...(大家相信……），It is hoped that...(大家希望……），It is suggested that...(据建议……）。
例句：
It is reported that this plan can prevent cancer.
根据报道，这种植物可以防治癌症。
3.可以相互转化的其他句型
