原标题：“two-time”千万别翻译为“两次”！其真正的意思让人愤怒！

很多同学第一次看到“two-time”，都会下意识理解为“两次”，虽然two是“两个”，time也有“次数”的意思，但two-time真正的意思差的有点远。

看下牛津词典对“two-time”的解释：

to not be faithful to a person you have a relationship with, especially a sexual one, by having a secret relationship with sb else at the same time

不忠于你的伴侣，特别是在性方面，同时与另一个人有染。

所以，“two-time”也就是我们所说的“出轨；劈腿；对(情人或爱人)怀有二心”，作为动词使用。

Are you sure he's not two-timing you?

你肯定他没有背着你另有所爱？

其派生词“two-timer”就是“出轨者；脚踩两只船的人”。

英文释义：

someone who deceives a lover or spouse by carrying on a sexual relationship with somebody else

欺骗伴侣，与他人发生性关系的人

5. extramarital affair 婚外情

*extramarital也有私通、婚外通奸的意思。

Her husband has admitted having an extramarital affair.

她丈夫承认了有通奸行为。

6. cuckold 绿帽子

cuckold 动词意思是“与…的妻子通奸使其丈夫戴绿帽子”；名词则是说“有不贞妻子的男人”

His wife had cuckolded him.

妻子给他戴绿帽子了。

“小三”、“渣男”、“渣女”英语怎么说？

mistress

小三，情妇的意思；也有女主人、主妇、女教师、女能人的意思。

He has a mistress in Paris.
